12 Okra pods
1 Medium onion
Minced Garlic
! minced celery hearts { the tender little shoots in the center of the stalk
salt
pepper
crushed red pepper seeds
1 cup chopped ham squares
1 tbl sp Bacon renderings
½ water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Okra pods into ½" size pieces Chope medium onion and saute with Ham chunks , garlic , celery and crushed red pepper add a little bacon grease to help flavor the saute, add okra to the pan and mix well continue to saute , add ½ cup of water and stir with wooden spoon to help deglaze the pan cover and simmer till okra is soft . let rest 5 minutes and serve salt and pepper to taste
