Personal Notes:
Over the years, I have found that having a 'go to' dessert recipe and the ingredients on hand were key to pulling off a great dessert in times of chaos, busy schedules, last minute entertainment or requests on short notice. This has been mine. At church the older gentlemen love this and think that I have slaved a long time to pull it off! kids love this treat and call it those 'special cookies', an upgrade from the 'go to' chocolate chip cookie! At work, they've been described as amazing! They are sort of addictive...rich and difficult to eat just one!
