½ cup sliced almonds (honey roasted or plain)
2 tsp Olive Oil
1½ lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 medium shallots, halved and sliced
1 clove garlic, minced (1tsp)
¼ cup dried cranberries
1 Tbs Agave Nectar

1. In a large skillet over medium/high heat, add oil and brussels sprouts, and cook 5 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally.

2. Add shallots and garlic; cook one minute more

3. Stir in cranberries, agave nectar, and 1 cup of water. Partially cover pot; reduce heat to medium. Simmer 5-7 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed and sprouts are tender. Remove from heat and add almonds, salt and pepper to taste
