"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 double graham crackers
1 cup brown sugar (light)
1 cup butter (the real thing)
1 (11 3/4 oz.) pkg. of milk chocolate chips
1 cup lightly chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Line a pan with sides with foil. Then line the bottom with whole graham crackers. Cut the crackers to fill the gaps.

Combine the brown sugar with butter, bring to a boil, boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour this mixture over the graham crackers and bake for 5 minutes.

Watch them carefully so they won't burn. Crackers will sort of "lift up".

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the crackers and spread evenly as they melt. Cover chocolate with pecans. Allow to cool before cutting. This will freeze, but should be used within approximately 3 weeks.
