1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup sifted powdered sugar
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped almonds or pecans
powdered sugar for decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cream butter/margarine
Add sugar and blend thoroughly
Add flour and vanilla- mix well
Stir in almonds/pecans
Chill dough thoroughly
Shape small pieces of dough into crescents (or balls)
Place on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 12-15 minutes
Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar
