14 pieces (or as many as desired) Chicken wings
4 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp cornstarch
Good shake garlic salt
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Sauce Mixture
2 Tbsp white vinegar
6 Tbsp white sugar
1 whole sliced, fresh lemon
Few drops for color ketchup

Double sauce if you like extra for your rice.

1. Place flour, cornstarch, garlic salt, salt and pepper in a covered container or plastic bag.

2. Shake chicken wings in flour mixture – place on an oiled baking sheet or parchment paper and bake in the oven 350°F on shelf high in oven. When done, about 30 minutes, turn pieces over (if not crispy enough, turn on broiler for last minute browning).

3. In a small, heavy bottomed saucepan, add vinegar, sugar and lemon slices. Heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils (stirring constantly). Use slotted spoon or fork, lift out lemon and reserve. Add drops of ketchup to sauce for color.

4. When chicken is ready, arrange in serving dish, pour over sauce and use reserve lemon slices to decorate dish.
