3 Cups Self Rising Flour
5 Tablespoons Sugar
1 (12 oz.) Can Beer Room Temperature
2 Tablespoons Margarine (Melted)

Directions:
Grease a medium size loaf pan. Mix flour and sugar. Stir while pouring beer into flour and sugar mixture. Mix well. Bake in 350º oven for 50 to 60 minutes (35 minutes sometimes) or until light golden brown. Spread top with melted margarine about 15 minutes before bread is done baking. Cool! Slice! Enjoy! Yields 1 loaf.

This bread is a good substitute for diner rolls and can be made in advance and served cold. This is a family favorite and is usually served at large family gatherings and will disappear before dinner is served if you’ve only baked one loaf. Tastes good with or without margarine.
