29oz can tomato sauce
12oz can tomato paste
1 onion, diced small
3 large cloves of garlic, minced
1½ tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp dried minced onions
1 tsp oregano
2-3 tbsp parsley flakes
1½ tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp pepper
½ cup red wine

If making with meatballs, take meatballs out of pot. Remove excess oil. Should be only 2-3 tbsp of oil left in pot. Scrape bits of meat off bottom of pot, will be used in sauce. Cook on med garlic and onions in the oil until onions are transparent. Put can of tomato sauce in with onions. Put can of tomato paste in pot. Fill can of tomato paste with water and add to pot. Add garlic salt, dried minced onions, oregano, parsley flakes and Italian seasoning. Add red wine. Always cook with wine. Everything tastes better with wine. If too acidic either add sugar or put carrots in (take carrots out when done). Add meatballs back in if available. Put heat on low and let simmer for about 1 to 1 1/2 hourst sauce sit with heat for about
