Ingredients:
1 package of yeast (or 1 Tbs.), 1/2 C. sugar, 1/3 C. warm water.

2/3 C. scalded milk, 2 well beaten eggs, 1/3 C. vegetable shortening, 2/3 tsp. salt, 3 1/3 C. flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the yeast, sugar and warm water together. Set this aside and let it foam up.

Mix, cover and let rise in a greased bowl until double in size or more.

Then I divide dough into 2 parts. Roll each part into a circle about a 1/2 inch thick--cut into fourths--then cut each fourth into thirds.

Begin at the large end and roll up. Place on cookie sheet and let them rise. (If you want, you may brush with butter and sesame seeds)

Bake 13 to 15 minutes @ 375.

Personal Notes:
Very tender bread ---we love it.
I also use this recipe in the bread machine.
