2 cups flour
4 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
2 cups milk
2 eggs, separated
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup grated, peeled apple ( I use more). We typically use Golden Delicious.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a small bowl, combine milk, well-beaten egg yolks and butter and mix well. Add this to flour mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in apples and beaten egg whites

Grease a hot griddle for just the first batch of pancakes.
