5 large eggs
¼ c. half and half
½ c. sour cream - do not use reduced fat sour cream.
1 heaping Tbsp. all purpose flour
1 c. cooked sausage crumbled (can substitute ham or bacon)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese - sharp or medium (can substitute Colby Jack or Swiss cheese)
salt and pepper to taste
1 Pillsbury pie shell at room temperature

Directions:

1. Beat eggs with half and half, sour cream, 1 Tbsp. of flour, and salt and pepper.
2. Add cooked sausage and cheese to mix and stir well.
3. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.

Bake at 350º for 35 to 45 minutes. Test at 35 minutes.

The Quiche is done when the filling is set, slightly browned on top and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serves 6 to 8.
