3 c flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
red wine vinegar

Filling
1 quart milk
2 eggs
½ tsp salt
2 c sugar
1½ c flour

Combine ingredients and knead like bread dough. Roll very thin and cut into pieces like diamonds 5x4. Wrap dough around oiled aluminum tubing. Seal with water. Fry quickly in hot oil until light brown. Slide off tubes.

Filling
In double boiler, mix sugar and flour. Add eggs. Add milk a little at a time; stir. Place on fire. Add salt. Continuously stir. When cream is dense, take off fire. When it boils, take off and pour into pan to cool.
