1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda

3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the last two. Mix 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix the last two ingredients and drop by spoon and roll. Stamp cookies. Place in greased glass baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes at 350.
