Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large head of Iceberg lettuce, rough chopped
1 small onion thin sliced (optional)
2 red tomatoes cubed (or 1 pint grape tomatoes)
1 large cucumber peeled and sliced
1/2 lb. sliced deli turkey cut in strips
1/2 lb. sliced deli ham cut in strips
1/2 lb. white American cheese cut in strips
1/2 lb. yellow sharp American cheese cut in strips

Directions:
Directions:
Toss ingredients in large salad bowl. Serve with French or Catalina dressing on the side with plain potato chips. Use quality deli meats. Cheap ham and turkey are packed with water and will ruin your salad.

Personal Notes:
Some folks call this Chef Salad, but if you are a Kemp it's Summer Salad. This is the "don't feel like cooking and it's hot outside" go-to meal that always tastes better when eaten with family and friends.
