1 cup flour
2/3 cup shortening
1 t. baking powder
3/4 cup water
1/2 t. salt
1 can apple pie filling
1 T. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
1 egg
1 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In small mixer bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, shortening & water. Blend well, beat 2 minutes. Pour batter into 9x1-1/4" pie pan. Combine pie filling, lemon juice & cinnamon. Pour into center of batter. Do not stir. Bake at 425 for 45-50 minutes. May also use fresh apples.
