Coconut Balls


Ingredients:

½ cup butter
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
3 cups flaked coconut
⅓ cup (2 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in powdered sugar and coconut.
4. Shape into ¾ - inch balls.
5. Chill until firm.

2 cups (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put 2 cups (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips in a glass microwave glass bowl.
2. Place bowl in microwave on HIGH for 1- 1/2 minutes or until melted, stirring twice.
3. Dip coconut candies into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip.
4. Place on wax paper.
5. Let candies stand until firm; store in refrigerator.
