2 cups sifted flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup butter
¼ cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp vanilla
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour and then measure. Add salt and sift again. Cream butter until soft. Add ¼ cup sugar gradually, beat well. Add nuts and flavoring. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Shape dough into finger lengths. Place on greased baking sheet about one inch apart. Bake in oven. Remove from sheet and while still hot, roll in powdered sugar. Cool and roll again. Store in tightly sealed container.

A little time consuming to roll them so sometimes I just roll them into small balls. Sometimes when you bite into them powdered sugar will get on your clothes. Sharon calls them wedding cookies.
