1 c. cooked pumpkin or winter squash, mashed
5 tbsp. butter, melted
5 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
16 dates, chopped and pitted
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/3 c. sugar
6 oz. cinnamon chips
dash of ginger
dash of allspice
pecan halves

Preheat oven to 350. Mix together, pumpkin or squash, butter, milk, vanilla, eggs, dates, and cinnamon chips. Mix with flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and spices. Grease and pour batter muffin pans. Top each muffin with a pecan half. Bake for 20 minutes.
