1/3 c. margarine
1 pkg. lemon cake mix

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 c. lemon juice

Powdered sugar optional

Directions:
Mix 1 egg, margarine and cake mix (dry) until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Pat remaining mixture lightly in ungreased 13 x 9 pan. Bake about 15 minutes or until light brown @ 350.

Beat 2 eggs, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon peel and juice till light and foamy. Pour over hot crust, sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake about 15 minutes or until light brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool.
