6 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick oleo
3 squares Bakers Chocolate
1 bag (12 oz) chocolate chips
1 bar German chocolate
1 lb nuts
citron (optional)
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t cloves

Glaze:
powdered sugar
milk
cocoa powder (for chocolate icing)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar together.
Melt oleo, chocolate squares, chocolate chips and german chocolate in a pan. Cool.
Add chocolate mixture to sugar mixture. Mix Well.
Add baking powder, nutmeg, cloves and flour.
Fold in nuts.
Form dough. Dough will be tacky. Refrigerate overnight.
Oil bread board slightly.
Pinch off pieces of dough to roll into a rope 1" in thickness and 12" long on an oiled board.
Do not use flour! Cut diagonolly in 1 1/2" strips. Do not flatten!
Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes.
Glaze while hot to create "shiny" effect.
