¾ cup of butter, softened
1 cup of lightly packed brown sugar
½ cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp of water
2 tsp of vanilla
⅔ cup of all purpose flour
¾ tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of cinnamon
3 cups of old mill oats
1 ½ cups of smuckers jam (raspberry)

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350º F.
CREAM butter, sugar, egg, water and vanilla together on medium speed of electic mixer until light and fluffy.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
ADD to cream mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in oats.
DROP dough by small spoonful onto greased baking sheet.
BAKE in oven for 10-13 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
COOL completely. Spread jam on flat side of half the cookie. Put another cookie on top to form a sandwich.
