3 Carrots cut small
3 Stalks Celery cut small
1 Tsp Basil
1 Tsp Oregano
14.5 ounces of Tomato sauce
1 Ham bone
1 Pkg Lentils
32 ounces of Broth (can use any type of broth: Chicken, Beef or Vegetable)
2 cups of water
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Grated Parmesan cheese - Optional

Directions:
Directions:
In pot, place ham bone with preferred broth (ensure broth covers bone). Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer add lentil, carrots, celery and all spices. Let cook until lentils are soft.
Cut tender meat off ham bone and put in soup. Sprinkle soup with parmesan cheese and enjoy.
