2 lbs hot or mild sausage , uncased
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion , chopped
1 pkg cream cheese
Kosher salt
Fresh ground pepper
12 cups chicken broth
10 russet potatoes,diced
1 ½ bunches Kale,leaves stripped and chopped
2 cups heavy cream
Parmesan cheese for serving
bread sticks.

Directions:
In a large pot over medium heat cook sausage,breaking up with a wooden spoon, until brown, no longer
pink, drain grease.
Add garlic and onion to sausage and cook until golden
Add chicken broth , potatoes and cover the ingredients with water .
Cook potatoes until tender.
Add kale, cream cheese and heavy cream and cook another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with parmesan and serve .
