green onions
water chestnuts, thinly sliced
chicken livers, cut in half
bacon slices, cut in half
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
garlic, slivered
ginger, slivered

Directions:
Directions:
Cut onions into 1" pieces. Roll a piece of onion, a slice of water chestnut, and a chicken liver half in bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Marinate one hour in a mixture of the remaining ingredients. Bake, uncovered, on a rack in a shallow pan at 400 degrees or higher until bacon is crisp.
