2 Mallard Ducks
1/2 C. Vegetable Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 C. Butter
1 lg. Apple- chopped
1 lg. Turnip- chopped
1 Onion- chopped
2 ribs Celery- chopped
1 med. Potato- peeled and chopped
1 Green Pepper- chopped
2 lg. Carrots- chopped
1 Orange- diced
4 strips Bacon
Prepared Rice

Directions:
Directions:
Place each duck on a piece of aluminum foil. Rub ducks with oil, salt and pepper. Stuff each duck with 4 tablespoons of butter, vegetables, and apple.

Place remaining vegetables and orange around each duck and cross 2 strips of bacon over each duck. Wrap aluminum foil tightly around each duck as to prevent juices from escaping.

Bake at 300º for 1½ hours. Serve with rice.
