2 8oz cans of tomatoe sauce

Directions:
Sauté onion, green pepper and Garlic with olive oil in a large pan. Sauté for a few minutes, until the onion is clear and soft then add the ground beef and olives. Sauté until the gound beff is completely cooked and drain some off the excess fat. Add the tomatoe sauce, Vino seco, Cumin, oregano and green olive juice (if using raisin add at this time). Reduce your heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. I serve this over white rice with Sweet Fried Plantains (Plátanos Maduros). Easily serves 6 to 8 people

I call this Cuban Hamburger Helper. It's fast to prepare and is inexpensive to make. I grew up eating this at least once per week. With a pound of hamburger meat and 2 cups of rice you can feed a lot people. I cook it at home a couple of time per month and it has become my kid's friends favorite.
