2 lbs. of Great Northern beans (or Navy Beans)
½ - 1 lb. salt pork cut up
1 onion sliced
Molasses to taste
Brown sugar to taste
Maple syrup optional to taste
1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight in water (water should be 4 inches above the beans)

Bring beans to a boil with the salt pork and onion. Reduce heat
And simmer, until the beans are tender. (1-1 ½) hours)
Add molasses, brown sugar, and mustard.
Bake covered for 30 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove cover and continue to cook for 2-3 hours.
Add liquid if they look dry.
