King Salmon and Asparagus Recipe

1 1/2 lb Salmon, skin on
2 1/2 tbsp olive oil, divided
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced, divided
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp pepper and salt - place a dash aside for asparagus
1/2 lemon thinly sliced
2 lbs asparagus with the ends snipped off
1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Line a rimmed 17"x12" baking dish with parchment paper.
Place Salmon in the center of pan.
In mixing bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, 2 cloves of garlic, dijon mustard and onion powder.
Brush evenly over Salmon and top with salt and pepper mixture.
Place lemon slices on top of salmon, spread out.
Toss Asparagus with 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 cloves garlic and salt and pepper.
Place around salmon.
Bake for 10 minutes, remove and toss asparagus with parmesan cheese.
Return to oven and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until salmon is cooked.
