1 &1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup butter
2 cups flour sifted
1 pound cherry pie filling
confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1 .Gradually add plain sugar to butter in large bowl.
2. Cream at medium speed until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs beating well after each.
4. Add lemon juice, and beat until smooth.
5. Pour batter into well greased 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan.
6. Mark off 20 squares
7. Place 1 heaping Tbsp pie filling in center of each square.
8. Bake at 350 degree oven oven for 35 minutes
9. while warm sift with confectioner sugar over entire cake
