3 cups of sugar
1 cup of butter
½ cup of warm carnation milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet. Cook over mid heat, stir consistently until sugar dissolves and becomes a golden syrup. Gradually add warm milk to syrup mixture. Continue to cook and mix consistently until mixture is to a soften ball stage then remove from heat. Beat at a mid-speed with an electric mixture for about 3 to 5 minutes until thick enough to spread. Spread immediately on cooled cake.
