Marinate 1 lb. shrimp in: 1 tbsp. sherry, 2 green onion, minced, and grated ginger root.

Saute, 2 tbsp. green onions, 1 tbsp. ginger, 1/2 tbsp. garlic and 1 tsp. hot chili paste.

Then add, 4 tbsp. water, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. sherry, chinese vinegar and karo syrup.

Then the coating, 4 tbsp. cornstarch, 2 tbsp. water, 1 beaten egg white.

Dip shrimp in flour and then the coating and deep fry. Pour the sauted ingredients on top of the fried shrimp.
