1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325º F.
2. In a large bowl, cream together: butter, brown sugar, white sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
3. In a different bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add flour mixture into cream mixture until well blended.
4. Mix in the quick oats and chocolate chips.
5. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake for 13 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
