1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Lemon zest from 1 lemon
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c. uncrushed Wheaties

1. In large bowl, combine sugars, butter, vanilla, lemon zest
2. In another large bowl, combine flour baking soda, baking powder, salt
3. Combine bowls
4. Stir in remaining ingredients
5. Bake at 350º for 8-9 minutes
