1 c. white Sugar
1 c. Shortening
2 Eggs beaten
1 c. Molasses
2 c. Oatmeal
3 1/3 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda dissolved in 2 tbsp. of hot water
1 1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Directions:

Mix all together and roll into little balls. Flatten with a fork and bake in 350º for 10 minutes.
