Ingredients:  
1) Yeast Mixture
4 t. dry yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
Dissolve dry yeast in water.

Then beat together well with:
1/4 c. lukewarm milk
2 c. flour
Let rise covered in heated oven until double. (30-45 min.)

2) Put 6 c. flour in a bowl and add:
1/2 lb. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
rind of 1 lemon
Yeast mixture
Knead. Cover and rise in oven until double. (45-60 min.)

3) Walnut Mixture
2 lbs. walnut, ground fine
2 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 T. lemon juice
Add enough milk to make a paste. (1 1/2 c.)

Directions:
Divide both the dough and the walnut mixture into 6 parts. Roll out the dough and spread with the mixture. Then roll each like a jelly roll. Place 2 each on a cookie sheet. Let rise one hour after rolling. (Rise the 1st two in a heated oven.)
Bake at 325º for 1 hour.
