1/c. butter (2 lb)
1/2 c. sugar (2 c.)
1/2 c. light corn syrup (2 c.)
2 eggs, separated (8)
2 1/2 c. flour (10 c.)
2 c. chopped nuts (8 c. or 2 lb.)
candied cherries, cut into quarters

*For big batch, use measurements in ( )

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks and corn syrup and beat. Mix in flour. Chill.

Beat egg whites slightly. Make balls about 1" with chilled dough. Dip in egg white, roll in nuts and top with piece of cherry. Bake at 350º for 20 min.
