"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Grilled Asparagus, by Carrie Colburn, is from The Schuldt Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
2 to 3 lb. fresh asparagus 1 stick butter 1 to 2 tbsp. fresh or jarred garlic
Clean and trim the ends off the asparagus first. Then in a frying pan put the asparagus, butter and garlic and sauté until soft but firm. Then take the asparagus to the grill and cook for a couple of minutes or until it's slightly browned.
