3 c. water
2 small onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 carrots sliced
1 14 1/2 oz can tomatoes, chopped
1 10oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb. Sirloin roast sliced thin
2 - 4 tsp. beef base
1/2 c. butter melted
1/2 c. flour
dash garlic powder
dash celery seed
dash parsley

Put all ingredients except butter and flour in crock-pot. Cover and cook on low 8 - 12 hours (high 4 - 6 hours). One hour before serving turn to high.

Make a paste with the butter and flour, stir until smooth. Pour into Crock Pot, stir until thickened. Season to taste with garlic powder, celery seed and parsley
