Directions:Biscuits Heat oven to 450º. Stir ingredients until soft dough forms. Turn onto surface dusted with Bisquick mix. Knead 10 times. Roll dough ½" thick. Cut with 2½" cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Gravy Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and break into chunks with a spatula. Cook until the meat is crumbled and browned all the way through. Add the flour and cook until dissolved, about 1 minute. Stir in the milk. Cook, whisking frequently, until the gravy is very thick and bubbly (you can add more milk later if you need to thin). Season with salt* and lots of freshly ground black pepper.
*Taste before adding salt; you may not need it because the sausage is salty. |
