6 med apples ( I use Granny Smith )
1/3 C brown sugar
1/3 C white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 T cornstarch
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
*if apples are not juicy add 2 T of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and cut apples into very thin pieces. Put in bowl and add all other ingredients and mix with the apples.
Layer evenly into pie crust, dot with butter, put crust on top and make vent holes

Preheat oven and cookie sheet at 450º. Place pie on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 350º and bake another 45 - 50 minutes
