9 c. Corn Chex; Rice Chex, Wheat Chex or Chocolate Chex cereal (or combination)
1 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. Peanut butter
1/4 c. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar

1. In large bowl, measure the cereal and set aside.

2. In a 1-quart microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter on high one-minute. Remove from microwave and stir well. Microwave about 30 seconds more until mixture can be blended together and is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into a two gallon resealable plastic bag.

3. Add powdered sugar and seal bag. (a large paper bag works also, just make sure top is folded down) Shake until well coated. Spread onto waxed paper to cool. Store into airtight containers in refrigerator.

You can use a different flavor of chocolate chips to change this recipe up... Or add nuts or little candies like mini m&ms.
