1/2 c margarine
1/2 c packed brow sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg yolk
2 t vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
walnut halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat 2 minutes. stir in flour.

Shape into 3/4 balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a walnut half into cent of each and bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
