1 can biscuits(don't use flaky biscuits)
4 cups oil
Cinnamon
Confectionary sugar for dusting

Heat oil in large pan untill very hot, enough oil to cover biscuits.
seperate biscuits, cut small hole in center. Add one at a time to hot oil. when biscuits are raised and lightly brown put on paper towel and pat dry remaining oil, sprinkle with confectionary sugar or cinnamon.

When we were poor or short on money, I used to make these for my girls ,Jackie and Connie, they both thought this was a big deal and the best doughnuts they had ever had. They would say they liked it when we were poor, because they always got their favorite doughnuts... So here's to you girls.. Love mom
