1/3 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 3 eggs 3 Tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Heat milk to near boil. Add dry ingredients. Beat eggs well and add few Tbsp. of milk mixture to eggs. Stir back into milk mixture and continue to stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell, and top with cool whip.
