Empty into bowl: 1 marle cake mix.
Hold out marbling mixture for later use.
Add and mix thoroughly:
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 tbsp. water
Mix in separate bowl:
- 1/4 c. of cookie dough
- envelope of marbling mixture
- 1 tbsp. water

Directions:

Drop rounded teaspoons of plain dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Cover ottom of a glass with a clean cloth; dip in water and wipe off excess moisture. Press cookies quickly to flatten and shape into rounds. With a teaspoon and toothpick, make faces and hair out of chocolate dough. You can also use cookie decorations for freckles, eyes, hair bows, etc. Bake in preheated 375º oven for 8-10 minutes, until light brown.
