White sugar
Brown sugar
Eggs
Butter or margarine
Salt
Cinnamon
Vanilla
Nut meats
Flour
Baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter or margarine (melted)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of nut meats (ground)
Mix above ingredients well.

- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda

Mix 1 and a 1/2 cups of the flour into the above ingredients using a spoon. The rest of the flour mix in with your hands, sort of knead. Then put about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of flour on the table and put the dough on it. If still too soft, knead a little more flour in.
Divide the dough in half and roll it into two long rolls, like jelly rolls. Put dough in refrigerator for at least 6 to 8 hrs. Slice very thin and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

'This is Gram's recipe. If you run into trouble call Linda, she makes them great. Mine never came out as good as Gram's or Lins'. Love Mom.
