4 eggs
3 c. brown sugar ( 1 lb.)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream eggs and sugar thoroughly. Sift flour with spices and add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread 1/2 " thick in well greased and floured cookie sheet. Remove and spread with 1 c. powdered sugar mixed with 1/4 c. water. Cool and cut in strips.
