1 c. butter or margarined, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. Dark chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar gradually. Beat well. Add egg yolk and vanilla and blend. Add flour and salt and blend well. Spread in a greased and floured 10" x 13" baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350. (smooth out dough with wet spoon or fingers.) While still warm, spread with melted chocolate chips and sprinkle with nuts. When cool, cut into small squares.
