9 tbsp. butter 9 tbsp. flour salt & pepper 4 c. milk 1 lr. jar of dried beef
Melt butter, blend in flour and seasoning, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and add milk. Mix together until well blended. Add pieces of beef. Put back on heat and bring it to a boil. Lower temperature and simmer for a couple of minutes. Serve on toasted bread.
