1 c. Shortening
3/4 c. Brown Sugar
3/4 c. White Sugar
add 2 Eggs
1 t Hot Water
1 t. Vanilla

2 cups quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt

Nuts and Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In medium sized bowl add wet ingredients.
Mis well
In large bowl mix dry ingredients

Fold in dry to wet and mix well

add nuts and chocolate chips.

Drop spooned ball onto ungreased cooking sheet
Bake 325 degrees for about 10 minutes
